N-LAN:1 - Local Multiplayer Mayhem

We understand that not everyone coming to the LAN will be pro at certain games, and that there will be plenty of games that you might not have played or even heard of before. We've devised a small list of awesome yet easy to play local multiplayer games that even the noobest of players can pick up a controller and get stuck straight in. Most are hilarious with a "easy to learn, hard to master" style so everyone has a chance to win and get stuck in. These have also been added to our "What's On" Page.

We will have a few PC's running these games at N-LAN, where you can put a shoutout for some opponents on discord then dive on them and play, so when the tournament time comes you're good to go! It's also an excellent way of meeting other players too!

We will also be hosting a "doubles" tournament of the below games, so feel free to grab a buddy to team up with, or even just team up with someone you meet there and see if you can come out victorious. The tournament will span over several if not all of these games with scores being combined to determine the overall winners.

Some of the below games can be had in the most recent Humble Bundle for as little as a quid, and even if you don't have any of them be rest assured you'll get the hang of it in no time.

Check out the list below for more info and their respective trailers!

Screencheat

[/tab_title]

[tab_content]

Screencheat is a chaotic split-screen multiplayer shooter that forces players to rethink the way they approach conventional multiplayer games. In the Screencheat arena, fast reaction times aren’t enough to keep you alive. When everyone is invisible, players will have to master the art of taking a not-so sneaky look at their opponent’s screens and working out where they are based on uniquely coloured areas of the map and distinctive landmarks.

Screencheat pays homage to iconic competitive first-person shooters such as Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Halo, by blending the elements everyone loves about those games and shaking it up with its own unique take on the genre. When everyone’s used to playing by the rules, can you adapt to unconventional gaming quick enough to get the upper hand?

Push Me Pull You is an award-winning local multiplayer game about friendship and wrestling. With every action affecting both you and your partner, PMPY combines the best parts of co-op multiplayer with the worst parts of your last breakup. Definitely one of the doubles tournament!
